After 8 years the BMW M3 E90 Sedan comes as a successor for the BMW M3 E36 Sedan. The previous M3, the E46 was available only as a coupé. The high-revving 4.0-litre 420 hp V8 engine, the same as in the coupé, makes the M3 E90 Sedan to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 4.9 seconds, a mere 0.1 seconds slower than the coupé despite being 30 kg heavier. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels by a manual six-speed gearbox with integrated, temperature-controlled oil cooling and mass inertia optimised two-disc clutch.
